New York Center for Sustainable Energy (NYCSE) to Open First Public Educational Center
After being founded in 2010 in Brooklyn, New York, the New York Center for Sustainable Energy (NYCSE, pronounced "nice") has built its first modular educational center in Brooklyn Bridge Park near Pier 1. The center was designed around an existing solar-powered electric vehicle charging station built by Beautiful Earth Group (www.beautifulearthgroup.com) and runs on 100% clean, green energy in addition to collecting its own water supply.
NYCSE will continue its mission to educate the public about sustainable energy issues. It will focus on:

NYCSE will continue its mission to educate the public about sustainable energy issues. It will focus on:
- conducting tours and educational programs on sustainable energy to students;
- providing lectures and seminars to adults;
- producing exhibits that examine the impact of energy choices on the Earth's environment;
- hosting workshops for teachers and corporate sustainability executives;
- presenting programming on sustainable energy for the New York community; and
- charging electric vehicles and promoting electric vehicle infrastructure development.
